Having been raised by artists, I was taught from a very young age to always be attentive to the visual world around me. By looking through a lens, photography and styling is one of the ways that I have channeled this.
I recently graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Visual and Media Arts and a minor in both Art History. At Emerson College, I focused much of my time on a monthly campus publication called Your Magazine. Initially I started off as the photo director but grew to take on more responsibility as the creative director.
Over the summer of 2015, Ebrima Manjang and I co-founded the fashion photography blog Peters Manjang Willson. Our goal behind the site was to create a visual map of the various places we travelled through style and design.
My journey with fashion eventually brought me to ELLE Magazine over the summer of 2016. I interned there in the fashion closet and worked closely with one of the market editors.
During the summer of 2017, I was the photo intern at Women's Health magazine. I spent most of my time there doing photo research as well as occasionally assisting on shoots.
Following graduation from Emerson, I interned at Of A Kind. My role revolved around styling, photographing and creating content for their instagram account. In addition, I worked on weekly photoshoots as a production assistant.
Currently, I am a junior creative liaison at Trunk Archive and Gallery Stock, both of which are photo licensing agencies that represent some of the most renowned photographers in the world.
